Restaurant bewertenGreat service and good food in this delicious local kitchen. the menus are above the pub-grub, but not so much that they are unfamiliar, with favorites like steak-pie and fisch’n’chips sharing the menu with Thai-Rind and Highland-Venison. they also make some inventive cocktails if they want to mix it. fast update mai 22. on Friday evening there was a live singer on the back of the bar, who slipped out some well-known melodies. he was pretty good, but rather a weed at such a tight space, certainly too loud for any convenient conversation, as shown from the back of the bar that empty up to 1030.
Decent wee bar bistro, food was of a high standard. Good selection of cocktails and beers. Dinner for four with wine and drinks was about £100.
Fabulous place to eat staff very welcoming service was great only problem I had was the portions were to much but can't complain would highly recommend to anyone to try big thumbs up from me
Great, welcoming and friendly staff. Live music on when we were in for a pint (or 2). Dogs are now welcome!!! Lucky to have this place so local.
The evening meal was a great value, with a nice selection of appetizers, mains, and desserts. The restaurant was quite busy, and the waitstaff were good at their jobs. However, I would suggest they work on getting drinks out a bit faster while diners decide on their meals; the wait wasn't too long, but it could improve. The large screens showing sports felt unnecessary and detracted from the dining experience; the last thing you want to see while out is more screens. Spending an hour or so at the bar below after the meal was enjoyable, but the music was a bit too loud—turning it down would enhance the atmosphere. Overall, the drink prices were reasonable.
