Restaurant bewertenI love the gyros! Took a long break after new owners took over, but that was my loss. The food is good if not better than before. The interior certainly looks a lot better; I actually considered dining in during my last visit. And, no small matter, but they accept credit cards, now!!! I miss seeing Alex there, but he obviously left the place in really good hands.
Love this spot! Authentic and very charming! Food was absolutely fantastic.Food: 5/5
They have the best gyros in the city no doubt about that. And their cucumbers sauce is sooo good! There fried are perfect too!Food: 5/5
I ordered delivery on Friday as my first experience with this place. I was disappointed in the quality of the food. All of the food arrived hot, but the tzatziki was mostly water and unusable. The gyro meat was warm but lacking any natural juices so the entire gyro was completely dry without the tzatziki. The dolmades, spanokapita, and 'Greek fries ' (unseasoned crinkle cut fries), were all decent, but the baklava tasted off. It seems like they used corn syrup instead of honey, which is traditional, and it threw the entire thing off for me.I 'm a fan of traditional Greek food, but this place doesn 't seem to use traditional ingredients or methods, so I will be looking elsewhere for my Greek fix in the future.
I've been to Sebastian's all my life, but about 12 of the past years I haven't been in the area. My kids have yet to experience Sebastian's and so, soon they will since I'm back in town to stay for a little while.
