Restaurant bewertenFriendly, we were very well taken care of and the food is outstanding!!
This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to honestly I told them I’m on a strict diet and I’d like to order the calamari they said it is only calamari. I ordered it and ate a whole bed of onions and jalapeños as a filler for the calamari. My stomach is on fire while they are collecting !…They sit there with all white chairs and looking elegant while I paid 50 a chair for let’s do this it looks elegant.Wow the most worst unethical people I’ve ever met. I paid for 50 Cent jalapeños and a dollar on a high dollar menu wow screw these low life’s screwing us over.
We stumbled upon CJs tonight while we were looking for somewhere to eat before my husband's speaking engagement. I had the chicken fried steak with the brussel sprouts. It was probably the best chicken fried steak I've ever had and the brussel sprouts were amazing! The raspberry sauce was just sweet enough to add a fantastic flavor to the sprouts. The steak was tender and breaded perfectly. My husband had the ribeye. I'm always nervous to take him to new restaurants because he enjoys a really good steak and really good steaks are hard to find. This was a winner. He truly enjoyed the steak. It was cooked to perfection and the flavor was fantastic. I had the wedge salad which was very tasty and my husband had the Caesar salad. The young lady who brought the salads out shared the story behind the Caesar salad while she mixed the salad at our table. Fascinating! The atmosphere was classy without being pretentious and the decor was very cute. We will definitely be back!!
We dined here late on a Tues evening for the first time. I had heard good things about it but didn't do much research. We just needed a place to eat in the area after a long day of work, didn't want fast food and they were still open. Was a little caught off guard after being seated when the server asked if we were there for a special occasion. It made sense when I took notice of the table settings and opened the menu. Our server was super nice and attentive. The menu is limited but are higher quality options with fitting higher prices. The inside of the restaurant feels like somewhere that would be downtown but it's in the middle of Choctaw. The front of the building is somewhat deceiving. The logo/marquee and maybe the minimal landscaping suggest a more casual restaurant. A name change might help with separating from the previous Mexican restaurant's menu and reviews. The music choice was also a little confusing for the theme. We didn't order drinks or dessert. Our bread, salmon and mashed potatoes were delicious and I appreciated the uniqueness of the cherry butter. The wedge salads, brussel sprouts, and rotisserie chicken on the other hand were obvious reminders that we were eating there late on a weekday, which was a little disappointing for the price. However, we may likely try to come back another time earlier in the day or on a weekend night. Parking: Lots of parking available and very easy to navigate with larger vehicles and/or trailers.
Food options in our town are really sad but CJ’s is amazing. This was our second visit (first visit was Valentines 2024) and we were so pleased. We got there an hour before close and they treated us like royalty. The food was just as fresh as if we got there at dinner rush. The pork chop is to die for FYI. Just can’t say enough good things about this place, the food and their staff.
