Restaurant bewertenAmazing pub with amazing food highly recommend and will return again stayed here in our camper we had a steak on the Saturday and roast on Sunday
Recently stayed at this campground with some friends for a couple of nights. We had a fantastic experience overall. The owner, Pete, was extremely welcoming and accommodating, as were the rest of the staff. Our dinner on the first night was delicious – well-prepared, prompt service, and generous portions. The camping facilities were simple but sufficient for a short stay. The historic pub had a beautifully maintained beer garden, adding to the charm of the place. Additionally, there were other nearby villages and pubs within walking distance for a change of scenery. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway.
Absolutely amazing food and couldn’t recommend a visit enough. We stayed as a group of 20 with younger and older kids in the campsite and had dinner in the restaurant on the 2nd day. Everyone said how good the food was and a special shout out to the peas that came with the fish and chips ! Even catered to my gluten free needs and did it very well. Thanks for having us and accommodating our large group order.
I dined at this restaurant twice while camping on the grounds in the back. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. The asparagus and halloumi starters were perfect, the ham and egg main dish was delicious, and the burger was both hearty and well-cooked. The Sunday roast was also perfect. I highly recommend this place if you are nearby.
Stopped here for lunch after exploring Chipping Norton. Neither of us had eaten here before but would both definitely recommend. Good menu, attentive barman and chef, food was marvellous, very tasty, good pub grub done well. Will return.
