Chew's Restaurant - Chelmsford

Ordered from this restaurant last night for the first time. We placed an order an hour before closing time and was expecting the food to not be fresh. It was so fresh, and hot and delicious! The girl taking our order was super accommodating. The delivery person super friendly. And only $5.00 to deliver. The wonton soup is absolutely to die for. My only regret is that we have been living in Chelmsford for eight years and this is the first time we ordered from this restaurant. It is my family's new favorite!

My wife has family that is Chinese and I have been so lucky to have ate amazing Chinese food. We ate from Alberta and the best Chinese food we have found comes from Edmonton china town or Calgary china town but have had amazing Chinese food from Red deer Alberta, British Columbia. We moved back to my hometown of chelmsford Ontario last year and have been very disappointed in Chu's Chinese food but gave it 5 tries as my parents enjoy it. Last time was x mas eve the order was wrong but most of all the food was greasy, bland and tasted nothing like quality Chinese food. I feel no real effort is put into the food and made to be way to Canadian. If I wanted Canadian crappy fake Chinese food I would buy the frozen boxes from.the grocery store at 1 tenth of the price. Please chews reinvent your menu and your food! To the owners go travel around Canada to the best Chinese food restaurants and learn from them to bring back great ideas for your restaurant. Change is always great to reinvent and become the best you can be. We feel your stuck and can't see your food is not terrible but not good and definitely not worth the money when you can get better Chinese food from the grocery store frozen section. The only reason my parents like your food is because they dont know any better but still dont love it enough to order from you guys more than a few times a year. I promise if you change you would have my family and many friends ordering at the very least twice a week. I hope you take my comment seriously and best of luck.

No good food, very disappoint. no flavour and very rude workers. i should know this was bad food, nobody was in restaurant. they should close this place and put better food restaurant.

We had take out from here for the second time since moving to the area. First time was lack lustre ....second time was just as unappealing. Food was bland, greasy, and generally not very good. The restaurant itself looked like it hadn’t been updated in 100 years. There is no way we’re are ordering from here again.

Average Chinese food made by white people. The portions are good size, but no one wanted to finish their plate. The chicken balls had hard pieces of something in them no one could figure out what it was. Everything was also over cooked or under cooked nothing was just right. A bit odd! On top of this everything was extremely oily. I get that North American Chinese is usually oily but this was more so than anywhere else I've had Chinese in Canada. I don't think I would order from here again.
