The Georgetown Pub - Canmore

Lots of great menu options as you would expect in a pub. Decent selection of draft beers and mixed drinks. Staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was good.

This was our first restaurant when we arrived in Canmore. It was very close to where we stayed and tried out their curry and half rack. It was okay the food but nothing to be impressed about it. We did like the location and the local beer was quite good as well as the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the first evening, we were bombarded with mosquitoes and ruined somewhat the dinner . Went back to the hotel with a bunch if itchy bites. Besides that we had a good but short time.

The Georgetown Pub is located beside the Lady Macdonald Bed & Breakfast that we stayed at. Service and food very good.

Food was good, staff friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Somewhat inattentive though, always seem to be waiting for things, drink refills, courses cleared, bill to arrive, etc.

Only gave it a 4 star since my family all ordered the same thing for lunch. We all got the Fish and Chips so can't speak for anything else on the menu but if your in the mood for a British Pub specialty it was worth the trip.
