Mema - CALTAGIRONE

We found Mema on the way to another restaurant but decided to stop there. It's nice and quiet inside and decor is colourful and fun. Honestly we walked in with no expectations but were so, so pleasantly surprised. The caprese starter was delicious, creamy bufula and the best tomatoes I've tasted during our visit to Sicily. I had the beef strips for secondi and my husband had the tagliata and they were both flavourful and cooked beautifully. As it's a wine bar as well, all wine options could be had by the glass which was good since we planned to continue walking around town afterwards. Service was helpful and efficient, really well done.

The Food was excellent, very fresh and totally affordable. The products are exclusive and from the surrounding area. The location as well the decor is stylish and modern. The owners are very friendly and warm hearted. I was surprised how beautiful they present the dishes. A pure culinary pleasure! I highly recommend this place in Caltagirone.

What an unexpected surprise to find such an amazing place! My family and I ended up walking around town for an hour trying to find parking. After many failed attempts we accidentally stumbled upon Memá. Let me start by saying WOW! The service was incredible and the food was just that as well outstanding!! I highly recommend the Caprese appetizer. The portions are huge and the prices are VERY reasonable. I wish I could come here again and again!! A MUST TRY.

Bellissimo luogo, scenografico e colorato. Soft music che puntualmente accoglie gli ospiti accompagnando piacevolmente la permanenza. Il food veramente buono, come suggerisce il nome stesso sembra di mangiare come una volta, dalla mamma antica. Inoltre, è l'unico locale Calatino ad offrire varietà di carne bovina vasta. Ottimo anche come bistrot per un aperitivo. Complimentoni per questo fantastico locale.
