Oceanic - Calp

We have been visiting this place several times over some years. The Food is great and the service is very personal and friendly.

I love this restaurant The steaks are great but I love the pork escalope with sauce and bratkartolfen Have visited many times and this restaurant has never failed! The French onion soup is the best!!! Great staff too What’s not to like I keep going back for more when I’m in Calpe I fact I’m going again tonight!

Have eaten in the oceanic many times over the years when we want to go down to the beach afterwards .The lunchtime menu is good value tasty not to much .Nice views and you get vegetables with the main meal.

As we approached the restaurant we were greeted by hand gestures of the angry waitress telling us to leave as it was full. When I asked could we place a reservation and come back she responded abruptly “I don’t know, I don’t know”. I’d rather go to McDonalds around the corner than go back there to be treated like that. The first restaurant in Calpe I have come across in 4 years who are not grateful for business. Needless to say, I won’t try again!

Whenever I fancy a meal of the day, this is where I head. They have 3 menus for meal of the day and also a full al a carte. All 3 menus of the day are lovely and the full menu is too. The ladies in there are really attentive and make sure you are at home. Yesterday we had cream of vegetable soup followed by King prawns in a mushroom, garlic, onion and cream sauce with rice. The king prawns was like a lump of meat and there were so many of them, to be honest had to leave some as it was so filling.
