We went for wings before going to the performance at the Blyth Festival Theatre. I had the Parmesan Herb wings and they were great. No shortage of fries too.
We had a group of 25 and they brought extra staff so the service should have been faster. It was 1 hour between salad and main course. I had liver and onions, the liver was ok but a little tough compared to many others i had at other venues. my wife had beef vindaloo which the waitress said was not too spicy but was very spicy and even hot for me who likes some spicy heat. the beef was very tough and chewy. Another guest with us had the fish. it was a generous portion but he had to send it back to be cooked more because there was lots of batter on the fish and the batter was hot fully cooked inside. If I had to go again I would probably just get a hamburger,
The outside is plain, but inside of the place ( called rubber boot ) is very nice. The staff very friendly, food was excellent and good specials, fast service. Would go back again. Great old hotel
We came to the Blyth Inn looking for coffee and a post-theatre snack. We setlled for one of their desserts, a very tasty cheese cake. The coffee was also good. The space is on the drak side, with low ceilings, but the atmosphere is friendly.
