Restaurant bewertenCanberra is the best at hidden gems and this lovely little cafe in Barton is just that ???? The space was light and airy, and had nice touches of greenery ???? And not as busy as it should be, so it was easy to get a table for our large group ???? The food was delicious! ???? Eggs were so yummy and perfectly cooked ???? Bread could have been toasted a little more but it had good chew and spreadable butter ???? The hollandaise was perfect ???????? Their chocolate milkshakes were awesomely thick ???????? The coffee and sausages were acceptable ☕️ Probably the most disappointing thing was the bacon was tiptoeing along the line of warm ham, but the serve was also more generous than it seemed, they'd rolled the two pieces up! ???? It also didn't seem like the waitresses had a clear area to look after, so we got asked for drink orders just after we had made drink orders - so not bad, just a little disorganised ???? I'd definitely recommend this for breakfast - it's almost as good as the Public Place down in Chisholm, but *way* easier to get a table ????

Really enjoy the food here. Service can be a bit average and the cafe can be very noisy, but the menu is good, the food is good quality, and the portion sizes are generous. Probably best brekkies in Barton area
Apparently making a customer approach the staff for service is a reality at little bird. Inattentive, unhelpful staff. The three waitresses on this morning huddled in a circle discussing their social activities rather than doing there job.
Pleasantly surprised with the options available here ! Enjoyed a nice 'Field Mushroom' breakfast. I like the simplistic look of the cafe with the natural light and green plants inside. There is both ample indoor and outdoor seating. Portion sizes are very decent and meals are beautifully presented. I didn't have to wait long despite a full house. Staff are really friendly and attentive. They also do coffee on the go, which is handy. I will definitely be back to try more.
