Restaurant bewertenI was looking for a restaurant open on the 25th night and found it right under the house! Perfect location, exposed stone, ancient parquet and fireplace always on. Service: impeccable, punctual and not intrusive, but I found a bent glass. Menù: perhaps a little too traditional, without too many innovative ideas. Kitchen: all well cooked with excellent raw materials, maybe my deer was cooked a few more minutes, but the rest was great. Winery: well-stocked, our barbaric silvia rivella really cheap. Price: good, but not great value for money, especially the second dishes are a little carucci. Overall a good restaurant right at the entrance of the fort bard, not suitable for mass tourism (for them there is the bistro 5m) with a more innovative menu can further increase customers.
Restaurant located next to the bridge of hone. we entered and we were immediately greeted very well. they have made us sit, served excellently and explained all the courses. exceptional cuisine. we have taken polenta and beef, polenta and deer meat, cutter with local meats and hot chestnuts, tortino with mushrooms with fondue. sweets: excellent strudel and mango and banana cake, kindly offered, really amazing. kindness and availability linked to professionalism and competence. Nice small place with a few tables under the fort of bard, reception of the perfect owner, menu proposed with typical dishes of the Valdostana tradition, prepared with particular elegance, the girl who serves the tables is very kind and nice, last but not least, excellent price of proportional quality. absolutely recommended!
I stopped here on September 8, 2021, last day of vacation, at lunch very late. I have consumed some excellent deer bottles in red wine wet with polenta (taragna if I don't remember badly. I remember that before choosing the range the waitress called me the chef because he couldn't answer me on a question about a meat cut in the menu I didn't know: The beast is what. I found myself well. I remember that the price was slightly high, as a peculiar feature of the valley among other things.
Pleasant discovery. bistro for a robust stop: sharp and some proposals with polenta. completes a very refined structure in the adjacent dining room. you eat, you drink something and you reach serene the fortress. very kind and helpful.
