Le Grenier - Auray

After we spent time and money in super u, we decided to eat here at lunch, very pleased that we did. very good food and service.

Vergiss la closeraie and the Chasse-Mar.... this is the place for good eating and worth for money. only open at midday and looks innocent on the side of the super-U supermarket fucked in the zone oceanne. all ingredients are fresh and the 2 course...Menu at 11,60 euro is unbeatable. it changes every day and is always good. on the a la carte side there are many good dinges, including the best pizzas in the far west france. excellent wine list including karaffe and service very friendly and efficient.

We stopped here on the way back from quiberon. it really rained hard and so our planned walk around auray was cancelled! this place had the advantage that we could park right in front of us and, anyway, none of us wanted to eat chain restaurant. So. we took a chance and we were glad we did. the waitress greeted us with a huge smile and showed us on our table. the plat du jour was cuisse de canard confit, which is one of my favorites, so that was a simple choice! my wife had the same and my son had the children's menu that included a main course, dessert and drink. he had tagliatelle bolognaise. from the memory was the plate 8€50 and the children's menu 6€50. the formule deer/platin or plat/dessert is 11€90. after we had ordered, had a table near us pizza and it looked nice so that we took care of our choice! the duck was amazingly good and was served with fantastic sautée kartoffels and green beans. the part was generous and the aromen great. the tagliatelle would have fed a very hungry adult, it was huge and it also tasted really good. I think a brasserie, which is attached to a super market, should serve at a reasonable price decent eating. this place felt almost too good! that eat tastes really good, it is cheap for what it is and the staff are friendly and attentive. we had really happy that it was raining and if we were back in the opposite, we would probably have a walk in the city, but then they come here to eat!

That is the indecent brasserie bar in super u super market. eating is very good e.g. terrine maison, confit de canard, good salads, good carafe wines. it is all they need for a very pleasant lunch when they come by. the entrée du...Jour is eu 11.80, daily changing and half a liter rosé wine is 4.90 service was excellent and the waitresses were thrilled.
