Sonic Drive-in - Apache Junction

If I could give lower stars I would! I would not recommend this location by any means! Worth the drive a few miles away I promise you. The food I received was HORRIBLE not to mention made with the wrong ingredients. When I bring this to their attention I was kindly recommended against eating the food there and told the employee would not eat the food there themselves. No attempt to correct or offer a new item nothing just a recommendation to not eat the food there with sincere apology.

This is the worst Sonic I have ever visited. When we pulled into the drive-thru to place our order, we noticed four employees getting out of a white Tahoe that was filled with weed smoke, causing the entire area to smell like marijuana. We requested to speak to a manager, but the girl at the window refused to acknowledge us. In addition to cooking our food, the employees were also vaping and blowing smoke into the food. The quality of our food was terrible, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The customer service and behavior of the employees were unacceptable. I will be reporting this to corporate.

The property was clean and well maintained. The service was extremely slow well over 20 minutes to get a hot dog. The food was served lukewarm at best. The iced tea was delicious and full of ice and a little bit of tea.

Food is mediocre. The staff never get the orders right and it takes awhile. If I chose to eat my junk food here, it would be nice for it to be like it used to be. If you don't know how to make the food on your menu, relearn it.

I had never experienced such perfect and quick service at a Sonic before. Nathan, who took my order, was also able to deliver it to me promptly. I ordered 2 #6 combos, a #2 combo, and mozzarella sticks. They prepared my order in about 3 minutes, the best service I have ever received at Sonic!
