Work meal and I admit I wouldn't have stopped spontaneously in this restaurant. Welcome a nice and good quality meat.

The service is excellent! The very hearty dish. An entry and a dish is very complicated to finish, but the quality is present! The frame is simple and original. Thanks again.

Almost next door to the cinema complex in the centre of Angouleme we came after an early evening film looking for a simple meal. Well, it was simple - simply excellent! The huge grill fire was mesmerising with the chef constantly in attention, moving food about the grill stand and tending the fire itself. We just wanted a main course and chose the faux filet served with a blue cheese sauce, garlic oven baked potatoes and grilled tomatoes. It was stunning - just good food, well cooked. The flavour and quality of the steak was excellent and all for 10 euros! We had a couple of glasses of Bordeaux Lestage and a coffee with the whole bill coming to €26.50. I don't know how we've taken so long to find this place as we've lived in the area for over 8 years. What I do know is that we will be back and highly recommend this simple, unpretentious grill restaurant.
