Went there three times. First one was by accident. Staff was great, really friendly and helpful. First time there was kitchen already closed when we found this place, but waiter introduced us with drink menu and local beer they have. Beer, atmosphere was great and we left when there was 'Last round ' for drinks. Our second visit was by purpose at 31.12. for some wine with hope that we could celebrate the New Years Eve there. Unfortunately they finished their evening early, about 22:00 so we left (not wanting) after few drinks at the bar. We come again at 2nd of January for some awesome goodbye-Amsterdam diner. It ended up with fantastic food, service and wine, for reasonable price for three-course meal. Steak was the best we ever had (and my husband travels a lot). His colleague is visiting Amsterdam soon and we recommended Stoop&Stoop as MUST place to visit for great time, food and atmosphere. Thank you for one of the best experience of quality! Visited today and asked if anything on the menu could be veganised and the waiter and chef came up with 2 dishes that I could choose from. It was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Plus the staff were very welcoming and friendly :

A very nice and quiet place in a very busy area. I hat pepperstake with fries and a Dame Blanche afterwards, the food was nice and the two girls working were extremely friendly and attentive! I recommend this place if you‘re looking for something close to the busy spot that is still local and cozy :
