This is the old “hole in the wall” diner. They have a set repeating clientele, but does a great job of serving. And the food is good. Don’t expect any ambiance, it’s not on the menu! Cash Only! We enjoyed Dave’s Diner. It gives a small town diner vibe which is nice to have around this area. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The staff was very friendly. At Dave’s, they cook the food on the griddle right in front of customers. I ordered the slinger with Chili which was good. The serving size for the slinger is pretty big. I had to take leftover. My fiancée ordered the omelette, a small order of biscuit and gravy plus coffee. He said his food was also good. I’d definitely come back for breakfast. *Note: ATM in the diner was out of order but there’s a few banks nearby to quickly get some cash. As soon as I came in I was greeted, the server suggested the deep fried biscuits and gravy. This was new to me so I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised and wondered where this has been my whole life. Everyone here was pleasant and talked to me like I was their friend.
