Restaurant bewerten#1 shanghai, probably #1 chinese in region *Edit* Just noticed a tourist not appreciating some classic Shanghainese cuisine. Hong Kong Bakery food is made by mexican chefs by the way buddy Order authentic xiao long bao and shanghai pan fried noodle, not general tso chicken and orange chicken from your Panda Express thank me later.

To be honest, kind of hit and miss. The flounder wrapped in bean curd skin was absolutely incredible- fresh, well seasoned, super crispy. A couple of other dishes were pretty good (rice cakes with shepherd’s purse) and others were just okay (pork with tofu knots). I love that this place has lots of vegetarian options. Their steamed vegetable buns are quite popular nowadays and I loved them ever since I had them. Looking forward to trying out more dishes from here!
One of the very best Chinese restaurants back in 2019 and before is now not very good. Not sure what happened but the last 5 meals (2 trips, 3 months apart, total 5 meals) have been terrible.
