Weiterlesen This restaurant is a hidden gem. Ive eaten here 4 times since finding it, and each and every time it is wonderful. The staff are great, and very helpful when asked anything, very diligent in making sure all customers are taken care of in a timely matter. The food has never been a disappointment, fresh and hot, and if low, you know there is more coming out in a matter of minutes. The buffet is not large but there is still enough to pls most Chinese food lovers. Ive been to quite a few Chinese food establishments and always now try to make this the first choice when asked where to go. Will be back and am hoping soon.

Scallops Were excellent for an Alberta restaurant and the spicy salted Jumbo Shrimps were awesome. I could eat a full order of just these. We had sufficient leftover meat for tomorrow's lunch. This is the 3rd time, first supper I ate here and I am even more impressed. Awesome food! Slow Thursday night and the waitress had helpful suggestions about food items. Doreen

If you are wondering where your next meal out should be, 10/10 recommend Modo Mio. I have several dietary restrictions which makes eating out a nightmare. I asked if there was any dish that could be made gluten free, milk free, onion and garlic free. Our server came up so many ideas so I had a hard time picking, everything sounded so good. He was so accommodating, I could actually enjoy a normal meal out for once that wasn't another salad. The atmosphere is rustic and old country, the service was outstanding and the food was incredible. Not to mention we had refills without asking and plates cleared in a timely manner. You may think these are typical things for a restaurants but as the serving industry is seeing new generations, some of these common practices have been lost. I will be back to Modo Mio without a doubt! Thank you for the excellent service and mouth watering food!

Our waiter was very cheerful and attentive. He acknowledged us immediately and checked on us a few times throughout the evening and we did not have to wait long for our beverages. He was also efficient when it came time to pay our bill. The food is always very good and the selection, excellent. The food could have been warmer though. It seemed like things had been sitting around for awhile and not replenished. This is particularly the case for the dessert tables. For example, the bread pudding was finished but the container sat empty for the entire time we were there. I also had to ask for serving utensils for some of the desserts but they were promptly provided. Several of the labels on the dessert tables were missing. All in all, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our meal.
