Weiterlesen We flew in from the west coast on a red eye and were welcomed by such kind people at the front desk. Everything here is nice and CLEAN the hotel itself, and also our room. I want to thank Kiara in the restaurant, especially for fetching me some hot water for my tea, to take up to my room. She had a friendly smile and a generous spirit, which I really appreciated. The same with the 2 young ladies who were overseeing breakfast this morning. The breakfast was delicious REAL orange juice, REAL bacon, REAL eggs, and REAL butter! Thank you, everyone there, for making our short stay such a treat! We most certainly WILL be coming back!

They promise me the new owners will be equally as good and have the same high standards. I look forward to giving this a try under its new management. Good luck Aunine and Herve Mousset in your new venture. What you did at La Pieds dans L'eau was nothing sort of amazing.

The young couple who own this place make you feel so welcome we feel like they are now friends. The husband is the chef and always makes a point of coming to the table to ask how the food is. Would recommend to anyone with the exception of not really being a place easily accessible for those with a wheelchair.

This restaurant is increasingly becoming logged as one of our very favourites. We have been 4 times now and never for a second disappointed. The atmosphere of t... Weiterlesen This restaurant is increasingly becoming logged as one of our very favourites. We have been 4 times now and never for a second disappointed. The atmosphere of the place is very homely and cosy. The décor blends both modern and traditional in a way that only the French can do. In the warmer weather its delightful to sit outside and view the lake for the aperitif. The food never disappoints and is equal to any Michelin starred restaurant in which we have eaten. The husband and wife team are very welcoming and we are so pleased for them that this venture has been such a success. Both do speak English to a degree and so for those of us not fluent in French its helpful. It can be quite hard to get a booking so I often call in advance from the UK before our trip to make sure. The price I think is mid range but the experience is fine dining.

Went for dinner too which was nice. The staff are nice but I have to say the service is pretty slow however, we don’t go on holiday to watch the clock so wasn’t a problem.

A good selection and quality of breakfast (except for the packet jam/honey), but oh boy, Mein Host could do with a bit of training in the hospitality stakes. No smile, and a torrent of sarcasm when my friend asked me to request something for her in German I do speak English, you know.. bla bla . We all glanced at each other in total astonishment... That apart, lovely soft boiled eggs, very fresh rolls and coffee, which hit the spot.
