Admittedly that was also one of the heat wave days. Overall, f this is a coffee shop in my neighborhood, I would happily come back.

The staff is really friendly and my cappuccino tasted good. Found Coffee is women-owned and these ladies put a lot of thoughts into making this little shop more than just about morning joes. They put interesting artworks on the walls: a set of portrait photographs on one, and a series of miscellaneous paintings and prints on another, likely made by their friends and customers. They also stock chocolates, jams, and greeting cards besides coffee beans. Just a lovely shop overall.

Weiterlesen Fika Fika is a rather inconspicuous coffee shop in Arcadia, a corner unit in the plaza next to an H-mart. Despite the simple, generic exterior look, it feels warmer and lively inside. There are ample seats, a roaster, and even an ice cream stand. They serve coffee, tea, and a variety of breakfast items including waffles and toasts. The cappuccino was ok, a bit too hot. Honestly I'm more excited about seeing the Victoria Arduino espresso machine than the drink itself.

First of all I want to point out that this is definitely not an authentic French bakery so don't expect the croissants to have the delicacy from Paris; However, I do like their wide range of offerings from pastries to cakes, all at very friendly prices. Besides the croissant, which was ok, not bad for the price. I also had a vanilla turnover, and was happily surprised by the banana tart or whatever that is called. It has a balanced, tasty flavor and good mix of textures. Definitely the highlight of my visit. Service was no-frills and fast, there are quite some seatings both inside and outside on the sidewalk.
