Just behind our hotel. The restaurant along the river. For best view sit outside. Tried their horse meat. 1st time eating and it’s Super delicious. Taste so good with their side dishes. All of us tried different menu. Worth of very penny we spend. They do speak little English, we even use Google translator to talk to them. All the waiter and waitress so welcoming, one of them even crack joke with us. Clean environment and it’s popular restaurant in the area. Must eat...!!!!

Weiterlesen Excellent, que des plats faits maison, bien assaisonnés et riches. le service est impeccable et de bonne humeur. l'allée est belle, calme, reposante et dans une incroyable atmosphère de paris romantique. bonne carte de vin. pour le dessert j'ai trouvé que le rhum baba était un peu trop fort dans l'alcool par rapport à, c'est vraiment le seul point négatif de ce repas. Je recommande fortement.

Weiterlesen Terrible service and service and incredibly rude staff. I love the movie Midnight in Paris and really wanted to come here. Unfortunately, the disrespectful behavior of the staff ruins the excitement of finally coming to the Polidor. I read other bad reviews online before arriving...but I saw some good ones as well and wanted to check it out for myself. Upon walking in, there was a nice young waiter who very welcoming and a young bartender who was also very nice as she easily directed to the seating area. The one star is because of their politeness. However, the rudeness of the older blonde woman with shoulder length hair and glasses was astounding. I asked her which table would be okay to sit at and she was immediately irritated and seemed frustrated she was being asked where people could sit down to spend money. She snapped very rudely to wait just a few minutes in a very exacerbated and dramatic way. I actually thought of leaving as this is completely unacceptable when she has to be aware there are hundreds of other places one could go instead. You are working in Paris. Once at the table, she slapped the place settings on the table like a child having a tantrum. She seemed overworked, overwhelmed, and angry she had to be doing anything. After several minutes of waiting, an older blonde waitress with very short hair was not pleasant but wasn’t as unpleasant as the other woman. I hoped the experience would improve. No, didn’t happen. She does not speak, no greeting whatsoever. She sits a dirty glass in front of me with black specs on it. I asked her for a new glass, she literally snatches the glass from my hand and seems upset I had dared to ask for a clean water glass. She doesn’t say anything to me. Not a sorry about that, I’ll get you a new one, nothing. She instead takes the glass over to the older blonde woman with glasses and they stand next to the table discussing the cleanliness of the glass and then give me a nasty look before finally walking away. They took minutes to discuss my asking for a clean glass, in front of me, giving me dirty looks before finally walking to get a glass; which should have taken 30 seconds. They’d rather stand there and talk than walk a few feet. You can’t serve people with dirty classes and then give customers dirty looks when they ask you for a new one. Customers that spend the money that pay you your income. I’m sure there are other people who would love to work there and actually be nice to customers. I was so disgusted by their behavior that I just decided to have desert and skip dinner here. They clearly don’t care if people feel unwelcome. I had great conversations with other customers who were there. I enjoyed the ambiance of sitting in the Polidor and chatting with others but the rude staff returning to the table killed whatever positive vibes were at the table. I wanted to go to the Polidor and I did, unfortunately now have a bad opinion. These employees are killing business for the Polidor and it’s quite sad.
