Portions were very generous, salad combinations were interesting and tasty, and prices were very reasonable for tasty fresh food. We ate our meal at the very convenient public picnic area on Rock road (little alley between two buildings).

I ordered the Grilled Lamb chops cooked medium, I know should have ordered them medium rare. I was disappointed with them. They were over cooked and barely any meat on them. We ordered wine with our dinner but it never came, would have been nice to have wine with dinner, so we had a dessert cocktail instead.

My husband and I have eaten at the Queen’s Grill on the QE2 and the Queen Mary 2, we have dined at the Four Seasons, The Plaza Oak Room and this restaurant holds its own with those premier establishments. You don’t need to cross over the George Washington Bridge or have parking problems or be concerned about your safety, all you need to do is drive down Palisade Avenue to this excellent restaurant with its outstanding menu and wait staff.
