Weiterlesen Abbiamo ricevuto un panettone della pasticceria brusa. una bellissima confezione..ma non vuol dire nulla..quando l'abbiamo aperto ...un trionfo di profumi e cedri canditi e arance e scorzette a deliziare il palato. di buona dimensione, di quelle che si apprezzano al palato, per intenderci...l'impasto è soffice ben lievitato senza conservanti ne additivi molto naturale. si mangia da solo..e tutto artigianale. ne vale proprio la pena.convenite?

Weiterlesen It’s the first time we visited the Glacier paradise shop/restaurant and of course it is COVID times so we saw the one way systems which we followed. However we omitted to see a sign that says table service only. We walked in and was searching for a place to sit when one of the waitresses (20/30 yrs old, brown hair, medium height and built) came over and asked if the table next to us was our table. We said no. Then she angrily shouted at us that the restaurant operates on a table service basis only and we should have seen the sign. Then we replied look we just wanted to take a look to see whether this is somewhere where we wanted to have a quick coffee and apologized for not seeing the sign and in any event wouldn’t be staying (due to her attitude...duh). She then said in German “out out” and hushed us out of the area. Wow I mean ok we didn’t see the sign but if she could have just let us know in a professional, calm and polite manner (as one would expect from a staff at a restaurant) that we missed the notice and asked if we would have liked a table, it would have been a completely different experience. We have spent the last few days skiing in Zermatt and have met some amazing people working in hospitality which made you feel welcomed (and we tipped them well) and food was amazing. I mean if you are to spend your hard earned cash in Zermatt would suggest you spending somewhere where you don’t have to put up with bad attitude!

What a welcome we received from the reception team at this beautiful hotel. Location is ideal just 5-10 mins walk from station of arrival from Tasch and the train station to the top of Matterhorn. Room was modern but keeping with the Swiss style...too. Hotel is completely wheelchair accessible especially if you get the adapted room. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights we were there as the food and service were so fabulous. Thank you for such a memorable stay Sunstar Style team.
