They are the only place that serves vegetarian meals (not only eggs or vegetables, actual meals! , which is amazing as there is no other restaurant like that near Clayton, NM. Another bonus is they a pet-friendly hotel with outdoor seating, so overall they are a great place to stop on a long trip or just when you are hungry.

The food is delicious and the beer is good. I had the pulled pork sandwich with one side of the vinegar-coleslaw with an IPA for a balanced and delicious meal.... We found this restaurant by accident actually! We were behind someone who was taking a long time to turn which gave us the opportunity to see the sign out front... Weiterlesen We found this restaurant by accident actually! We were behind someone who was taking a long time to turn which gave us the opportunity to see the sign out front. So we ended up turning into Front Porch to try something new! We pass through this area about 3 times a year and always stop at the same places, but this pass through we wanted to try new restaurants. The Front Porch did not let us down. We were greeted with a friendly, Sit anywhere you 'd like! the moment we walked in, and promptly brought the menu card. Husband ordered the chicken fried steak, kiddo ordered the corn dog and I ordered chicken fried chicken. Most of the items are home style comfort food which we enjoy thoroughly. The decor is country and our drinks were served in big, cute mason jars. Bathrooms are clean, even the soap dispenser is a mason jar. Our lunch stop was delish, thank you ladies! Keep up the great cooking!
