Drove from Blue Mountains Got there placed was packed sitting inches apart, throngs of people in doorway inside and out elbow to elbow SOCIAL DISTANCING ??!! Finally sat down and they refused to honour coupon saying chef who does Yum cha not working today !!? REALLY. were totally rude, threatening and disinterested insisting they didn't know who took my booking without even checking. We were treated differently from the second we got there, forced to wait while others arriving after us continually pushed in. Was clear they wanted the big bucks no coupons ONCE THEY REALISED THE PAY DAY ON OFFER. Demanded we order from menu which had no prices on it when I asked the prices she refused and insisted we leave giving our table to others that were obviously friends. let's just say if it was the other way round the word racist would be appropriate. We literally had to push our way out it was so crowded while staff smirked.

We were a bit shared about the service as the maitre was outstanding receiving us however we had to request the waitress to take our order as we could not get her attention (she spontaneously came to take our order like 5 minutes after we had the menus in hands, way too early). And we had to ask the bill 3 times.. when you have a bill of more than £70 pp with just mains and wine you would expect better service quality. Maybe not enough staff ?

Weiterlesen 2.5/5 the hive cafe is located in the shopping center harbourside and is a more convenient place to get a coffee or a meal when they are located around darling harbour. despite this ideal location, the caffe has very limited feed options. the food tastes good. coffee is good. service is friendly. the ambiente is pretty boring. if the caffe takes seriously into the development of a better menu and the improvement of interior equipment and music, this place will thrive.

Staff are friendly and nice, i recommend you to grab doughnut with your coffee! Coffee is excellent, rich in flabour, smells very good.
