Weiterlesen Was last there a year ago and went back today and so nice to see that quality of food and service is still so good. We were there for a late lunch which meant choosing from The Happy Hour menu. Chad our server was extremely friendly and provided advice and on his recommendation Mom had the Fish Cakes with Frites and Kale salad and I had the Chicken Creole served on a bed of mashed potatoes with asparagus. Chad was correct in his assessment that the spice on the chicken creole would give just enough heat and that the chicken would be moist and tender. Our food came piping hot, which is such a change from recent outings at other restaurants where the food is sometimes just warm. A lovely meal, flavourful drinks and a great experience. Also want to point out that Chad intercepted a food runner for one of his tables and calmly informed them that one of the items was not as requested by the patron and gently redirected the person back to the kitchen with instructions. A couple of minutes later the food was back and it passed muster and was promptly set at the table. It was all done very quietly and discreetly but very effectively. We will be back!
