Weiterlesen I was running around doing errands in Winnipeg and seen the sign for the Mama burger combo for $5.00 at the A 7 W at Inkster and Main. I went through the drive thru and replaced the fries in my combo for onion rings for an extra dollar. The bag was overflowing with crispy golden thick cut onion rings. They were very hot, so it appears they were made fresh. The Mama burger was also fresh. It is always a treat to have an A W rootbeer. The drive thru service was very good.

We spent one night at the Skiklub and decided to eat there as the reviews seemed to be ok. We 're glad we did, as it deserves to be ranked higher on the list. W... We had false snails (beef cooked in the butter normally used for snails), a mixed salad, then the classic Cordon Bleu (pork and cheese) and the saltimbocca one (veal, sage and cheese), and a panna cotta. Everything was delicious, the Cordon Bleu were home made (the fries were not, and that 's the only complaint we have) and huge, the panna cotta was very good. The open Primitivo was also very good. The price was fair for Andermatt (people should stop comparing France and Italy to Switzerland... it is more expensive, live with it or do not go there). Staff was very friendly. We would definitely go there again to test some other dishes. The cook is italian, just in case.

I have great childhood memories when gondola first came to winnipeg. it became a family lover. the last couple of paints we ordered...pizza for the delivery from the st. mary’s restaurant it was delicious but soggy. we have avoided the order of gondola for a couple of years, but that demand the uniqueness of a gondola thin crust pizza could not be stopped. Today we decided to take a chance and order one for the pick-up. when I arrived at the restaurant, 5 minutes early, the staff were very friendly. kudos to the personal! another 15 20 minutes later and the pizza was ready. it was hot through the box a good sign I thought. Unfortunately, when I brought it home, it didn't taste like the gondola we knew and loved. I called to see if they had changed the recipe and not. after eating about a quarter of pizza, and after much debate, we came to the conclusion that the crust was unevenly cooked, parts overboiled and parts tasting of flour. the ham flakes were too large and the sauce had an acidic taste. we are now looking for another pizza restaurant and gondola will remain a loving kindness memory.
