Weiterlesen This is near the top of my worst dining experiences. The tacos were just ok. They were only $1.50 each so they are hard to complain about. The tortillas were prepped on the griddle, but not long enough for my liking. They were mushy and greasy but they didn't fall apart. I got asada and pastor tacos. The asada tasted like beef but it was mush. It started out as chunks of steak but I guess it had been cooked too much. The texture was just all wrong. The pastor meat was cooked better. It was just ok, not bad but not great. Then there's the tamal. This was the worst excuse for food I've ever had. The attached pic is what I saw as soon as I opened it. There was a small husk that the masa and meat were placed on top of and then it was all wrapped tightly in the foil to cook. None of the moisture could escape so it was all just mush. It had the consistency of grits with meat. It was awful. Not only was the texture wrong, the taste was bad. I tried my hardest to finish it but just couldn't do it. I ate maybe a third. I had high hopes for this place. I drive past here occasionally for work but never had the time to stop. I was in town today on a weekend and excited to try it. Wish I never stopped.
