Weiterlesen The food was spectacular. We took my mother here for her birthday and were not disappointed. I had the lemongrass ginger halibut and it was truly amazing. Super delicate, subtle and complex flavors with a richness that wash lush. Equally amazing was the filet mignon. The soup was unbelievable. Cream of Onion, complex and delightful. The waitor recommended excellent and affordable wine pairings. We were absolutely thrilled with the meal and the chef came out to greet and check with her diners in an effusive yet genuine manner that made us feel like she truly loves what she does. Thank you. We can taste it.

They were out of 3 out of three of the listed oysters. Bummer. Then the main course came out and the Sea Bass was not only undercooked, it was raw. The Diver Scallops on Risotto was a hot mess. The scallops were over cooked and the risotto was overcooked and bland. I sent it back asking g if they could redo and it came back in tomato sauce with salt. For desert we ordered the chocolate brownie with Ice Cream and the flourless chocolate cake. The brownie was microwaved and the ice cream was melting when it came out. The flourless chocolate cake wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good either. The ice cream was cold-ish, but also melting. All in all, blah. Not worthy of a visit. They did take the $45 Sea Bass off the bill, but offered nothing else and, where they didn't have to, a little offering would have gone a long way. That is all, in a clamshell.

Food was pretentious and over complicated. Not warm (not even close to hot). Fries and gourmet Mac and cheese were not cooked. Service was ok. There were three... There were three servers and did not get a soda refill. They had one salt and pepper shaker that they took from our table to take to the other couples table. They didn’t know what beers they had on tap. They had four taps. Very tough to remember. My expectations were low and they were not even close to being met. We were the only people in the front of the restaurant and there was one couple in the back. I would not go back and I would be shocked if it’s even open in a month.

Every restaurant has good and bad nights, this one is no exception, most likely. Our last meal was unremarkable with regard to the food. I had the duck leg conf... Weiterlesen Every restaurant has good and bad nights, this one is no exception, most likely. Our last meal was unremarkable with regard to the food. I had the duck leg confit, which was dry. It came on some cabbage, which was decent. I had onion soup, very blah. My wife ordered a salad which was probably the best part in f the meal. She also ordered some fettuccine with mushroom which was just not tasty. The service though, is what made the evening.... lackluster. We were there pre-theater. And, we let it be known. After giving our order, the appetizers came within a reasonable amount of time, but we waited 30 minutes more for the main course after our appetizer plates were cleared. This in spite of asking the waiter and the host, to please get us served. It was an off night. And, it happens, but it’s left a bad taste and I don’t think we’ll be going back.
