Weiterlesen We heard about this unassuming place from a work friend who mentioned their fresh breads.. Easy to miss from Courteney, you have to go inside the shopping center next to the DMV in Merritt Isalnd. We are in the area recently so gave it a try. Very friendly staff made you feel welcomed. We started off with a very tasty Barratta cheese appetizer that was topped with crushed pistachio nuts and came with nicely seasoned artichokes. My wife had the fish special which consisted of a lightly breaded fresh snapper over rice and perfectly cooked string beans (crisp and sweat . I had the lamb Osobucco served over very smooth mashed potatoes. The gravey was rich and bit strong at first to my pallet. But still very tasty. I took home a good portion as it was filling and it tasted even better the next day. The dinner rolls (garlic knots without the garlic? were the best we have experience so far in this area. Very tasty and added to the nice experience. I would definettly come back and look forward some other items on the extensive menu. This is a dinner only restaurante so plan on 4:30 or later to try it.

Weiterlesen When I want to dine out and splurge, Amici's is on the list. I always get the Shrimp Parmesan and add fettuccini alfredo as the side. The two together are so tasty. My complaints are that I guess there isn't hosting in the afternoons and I have to stand awkwardly waiting for someone to see me to be seated because of the wall by the host stand that blocks the view from everyone else working there (terrible design). Also, the fettuccini alfredo (even though I order it all the time) is very al dente to the point of uncooked sections of pasta sticking together. Also, the bread isn't that great and they ration it I eat alone normally and they only give me a couple slices. That's chincy. But I like the servers, the pasta truffles are divine, and I do love the shrimp parm.

Very Fresh food, clean, rare find for this area: true organic, raw, and vegan. The food is delicious, great serving portions and all made to order. My favorites... My favorites are the Raw Ruben with fermented kraut and the Pasta made with Daikon radishes noodles. They have wheat grass shots, fresh smoothies, and delicious meals and desserts. I love supporting small, local businesses. Especially when they are helping people have access to healthy choices. Try this place out! You will love it!

It was very busy when we went and people were hunting for places to sit. The bagel was pretty basic and they give you a cream cheese packet to spread it yourself. I would definitely recommend this place and their unorthodox marking I think it's fun. I feel bad for foxtail across the street.
