Not particularly charming, the ambiance lacks an attractive aura. However, the cuisine is quite good and carefully prepared. For a French restaurant, it was a bit surprising that for wines by the glass, there were two choices: white or red. Surely, we are in France! It was reasonably priced but really there is nothing exceptional here.

Weiterlesen Just one of the most pleasant culinary experiences I had for a long time! Everything was stellar, from food and drinks to service. Beautiful atmosphere inside with tables and bar seats, as well as some tables outside. Service was friendly and everything arrived in time. The food was absolutely delicious, but also really fun to eat. The plates had all bold colors and aromas and smells; it was a real feast for the senses! I find that fine restaurants can sometimes feel quite suppressed and restrained, even if the food itself is exquisite. But Saltyard has managed to create a casual culinary experience that still provides exceptional food. We have tied up about 10 different things and every single record was excellent, but if we had to choose our favorites, they would probably be the Burrata, the Courgette flowers, the pig bell and the honey ice cream. The drinks were also very good, but the Sgroppino was on another level. Without a shadow of doubt the most delicious drink I had in the last memory. The perfect balance of sweetness and acidity in the lemon Sorbet, which gives a wonderful melow flower aroma from the camomile and the prosecco. It was just brilliant! As far as pricing is concerned, I must admit that my first reaction to the finding that the bill was a shock, but when we actually broke it, we were pleasantly surprised. Without service it came to about £50 per person who is pretty good considering the central London location and the quality of food. Remember that we splurged and had a lot to eat and drink, so it is absolutely possible to have a meal here for something less than that. Overall, I really don't think I can find mistakes with every aspect of our meal, which I can't say often. If you are looking for a fun, tasteful dinner and drinks, I cannot recommend this place enough! Edit: I still think of this f**king drink on the train home; I want another one!

Mon mari n'a pas eu la possibilité de prendre le vin au verre donc il a pris une demie bouteille de rosé. Concernant le vin et l'apéritif nous n'avions pas les prix dommage.
