Das bedeutete, dass wir wieder zurück in die Vergangenheit gehen mussten. von la barme gelandet. Was ursprünglich eine Frustration war, wurde zur Freude, als wir das Zufluchts- und Restaurant in der Cantine des Dents Blanche entdeckten. Das Personal hätte nicht hilfsbereiter und freundlicher sein können, ein schönes Zimmer war verfügbar und wir konnten einen leckeren Teller mit lokalem Fleisch und Käse mit gekühltem Wein genießen. Christophe, der Gastgeber und der Koch, kreierte am Abend ein ebenso köstliches Gericht mit Pilzrisotto. klassischer, rustikaler Abschied in den Bergen. Die Unterkunft ist traditionell, aber sehr komfortabel, mit einer Reihe kleiner Zweibettzimmer, wie wir sie hatten, und einem Schlafsaal im Dachfuß. alles makellos sauber. Ich kann nicht erwarten, hierher zurückzukommen, es war ein großer Skandal, dass wir unseren ursprünglichen Spaziergang nicht beenden konnten, aber der Bonus ist, dass wir in die Kantine der Dents Blanches zurückkehren können.

It was great for a quick après drink while mulling over the days events and even better for an evening meal. The service was excellent, the food was delicious...and the local wine went down very well too. You definitely need to book especially on Friday/Saturday. It was the best of the three restaurants we tried in Morgins this visit.

It is a delightful restaurant offering the chance to eat inside or out and enjoy great views on clear days. The young, energetic staff are very...helpful and there are two lovely resident dogs Brigitte and an unnamed husky type who is not allowed to circulate. We notice it is a gite as well and could imagine how peaceful it would be to spend any length of time up there.
