If you go to the small streets that are away from the place, you will find much better restaurants at the same (or even lower) price. It's a shame that this is happening, so just maneuvers around the square and don't let it spoil your stay in this beautiful city.

You must try the coconut pie. The band performed very well,...the dancers were amazing! As conclusion, if you go to Cartagena, you must try a dinner at Cande. For sure you won’t regret the experience!

I have been coming to Blue Apple Beach for years, and it has become my favorite place in Cartagena. The food is fresh, local and organic; the white sandy beach... Weiterlesen I have been coming to Blue Apple Beach for years, and it has become my favorite place in Cartagena. The food is fresh, local and organic; the white sandy beach and ocean are postcard worthy; the music and pool is the perfect party; the animals,...scuba dive center and NGO on site add extra bonuses; their rooms are incredbily comfortable. You can tell that they do everything with intention and passion, from the owners to the waiters to the bartenders to the ladys recycling glass. Only a 30 minute boat ride from Cartagena it is amazing how fast you can go from busy city to tropical paradise.

The place gets very crowded with tourists and the sunset view actually isn’t very nice (looks out onto the highway). It took some finagling...to get a photo without the highway in the foreground! I ordered a passion fruit pisco which was pretty good. Can’t comment on the food. Was playing nightclub music by the time I left if that’s your scene.
