Weiterlesen I’ve had to use different hotels over the last few months whilst travelling on essential business, and I’m delighted to be able to stay at Dakota again. As always, the staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. Food was excellent and I look forward to being able to enjoy a glass of wine when restrictions lift further in the future. There was a very minor mix up with my order one evening. The young woman serving me dealt with it quickly, without undue fuss, and if anything it demonstrated her fantastic customer care more than already demonstrated. She was a credit to the hotel and her colleagues. I will be an increasingly regular business visitor to the area, and the Dakota will be my first choice. Thank you.

Weiterlesen My friend and I were attending a full Land Rover experience day on 3rd Jan 2020, and with just over an hour to spare between am and pm sessions thought we’d be able to grab a quick lunch in the Brasserie. How wrong we were! Firstly, there were no staff in the Brasserie so we had to wait 5 mins to be greeted. We ordered quickly nothing complex; a sandwich and bowl of chips. 50 minutes later we left without receiving our food. As did the couple on the table next to us. The couple with young children on the table behind us, who had waited just as long, had to send food back as their chicken burger wasn’t cooked. A flustered manageress appeared just as we were leaving, and said that our drinks were ‘on us’ 2 pints of lime and soda. How kind. A really disappointment, and I wouldn’t return. By the way, the Land Rover experience day was excellent, with great staff, and great service. Highly recommend. Just take sandwiches with you.
