Weiterlesen I went with my one friend to this restaurant on 10/8/22 for lunch. The food was alright and service was average. I ordered coffee, carpaccio, chopped salad, and avacado with smoked salmon. When it came time for the bill, I paid it, and added a tip. It was only when I got home, I noticed that the tax rate was a surprising 18% of my subtotal! This is ridiculous, as the total tax should’ve been no more than 8%. I tried calling the restaurant on multiple occasions, to no answer, or no follow up even after the staff promised to have the manager call me back. My friend has also been having the same issue. This is some poor customer service. I would definitely NOT recommend going to Mio Modo. If you’ve been to this restaurant, or if you happen to go, double check your receipts so you don’t get ripped off.
