This place is kinda pricey for what it is. The waiter came to take our drink orders and he explained where their products came from. They try to get local products which is amazing! Overall good service. For drinks we ordered 3 Bloody Caesars,4 beers and a cocktail. The drinks came in a timely matter and the cocktail was very good. The waiter brought mini Masson jar of Popcorn. We ordered fries and mayo, cheese plate, portobello spinach and cheese, onion soup,arancini(+2$ when you order an entree and beef tartar with foie gras poêlée(+6$ . (Took 15 minutes before getting to the table The fries were average, reminded me of la belle province fries but less oily. The onion soup was really good very flavourful and creamy! The cheese plate was good. we got the plate and the waiter explained the different types of cheese and their level of strength. The arancini lacked in flavour, you can say it was forgettable but The beef tartar with foie was excellent! The tartar was juicy, light and tangy. It was an amazing taste with the rich buttery foie gras. For main courses, we ordered the trout, braised beef in a wine sauce and medium rare steak with fries. (Took 35 mins to come to the table . Very good sized portions. (We tried to order the steak well done but they only cook it one way, which kinda sucks for people who don’t eat medium rare. The trout had a very good taste, there was no deep fishy, earthy taste which was great. The braised beef was okay, the taste of the wine was very potent. The meat was well cooked sous vide style and the potatoes were well seasoned. The steak was perfectly seared and pink. Although the steak was VERY tough which was very disappointing. The piece had a lot of nerves which made it very difficult to cut through. All the plates had too many carrots haha. I get it’s a side but instead of 5 long pieces 3 would have done the trick. Overall it’s ok, the tough steak, overpowering sauce and chewy beef was disappointing. Even if a place is more of a bar,the food should still be up to par with the quality of the drinks to not bring down the whole experience. Overall I would give this place a 3.5, the tartar and the onion soup were by far the best thing, along with the fact that they support local products.

I cant even begin to explain how blown away I was. Right as you come in the waitresses/waiters are very welcoming. A little small, but has an open concept bar so you can watch the chef cook. We ordered the... Foie gras oysters: Let me tell you, I LOVE oysters and foie gras but I've never had an oyster like this. The oyster was fresh and it was accompanied by a big piece of foie gras! The juice from the foie gras mixed with the oyster juice was simply devine! I could have eaten a dozen! Chaudre de paloudre(I think it was special of the day) Great flavour a good amount of seafood at the bottom. I was shocked at the end, when I saw it was only 11$. Great size and it packed a whole lot of flavour. Pan seared foie gras with ginger bread and fruit jam: The foie gras was cooked perfectly, the ginger bread crunchy yet not too sweet with the fruit jam sauce. They played not1 piece of foie gras but 2 good size pieces. Garlic Lobster gnocchis: It’s a good size lobster tail for the plate. The gnocchis are soft with a creamy garlic sauce, cherry tomatoes and spinach. Cote the boeuf with the foie gras:(HALF size) It’s a good thing the waiter informed us we could do the half size because the full would be way too much with what we ordered. Even then the half size was a very hefty portion (in a good way). The meat was cooked perfectly pink with 4 pieces of foie gras on top and some truffles. It also came with some veggies and mashed potatoes on the bottom. The taste was exquisite. The meat was full of flavour, tender and juicy. It paired really with with the foie gras and the potatoes. From start to finish the service was on point, friendly and fun. I highly, highly, highly recommend this restaurant if you're a foie gras lover!

Very cute and cozy cafe! The hot chocolate and London fog was delicious! And their pastries look Devine! Good wifi connection! Close to many other restos since it's right in the center of the street St Denis! They even have a little corner store/depaneur that's on the side of the cafe, which carries things like kambucha, granola bars, candy machine etc. Love the little designs they make on the drinks and the cashier is really friendly and welcoming! Definitely, a good place for University student to go study! And it's close to the metro!

I finally got the chance to pop in for a late lunch. I ordered the lunch box which was 16$. For a sandwich I choose the apple walnut prosciutto sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! The walnuts were caramelized, the sweetness from the apple countered the walnuts perfect with the saltiness of the prosciutto. The sandwich had a good amount of prosciutto slices, apples slices and a handful of walnuts. Really made me think of fall! The lunch box also came with 2 side salads one a regular salad with Wagyu sauce and another kale salad. Both salads weren't great I could have done without them. I also ordered a chocolate caramel mousse dessert (5$ . It was way too sweet I could barely eat it. Overall, nice place for an afternoon coffee and pastry, good place for a sandwich a little pricey for what it is. But I would go again for their sandwiches and pastries.

Second time I come here and it still doesn’t disappoint. From the outside the restaurant looks small but they have a private room, a terrace in the summer, a main floor and an upstairs level. They have a large selection of beers with a good selection of muscles. We ordered both the tomato and garlic sausages, the orange and cranberry sausage and the grill octopus as an entree. I’m very picky when it comes to eating octopus and I usually don’t like it but this time they grilled it just right and the sauce that accompanied the grill octopus balanced out the saltiness perfectly. They have different flavour for the muscles in which they’ll be cooked in,which makes the broth. We took the flavours Dijonnaise and Szechuan, absolutely delicious! The muscles come in 2 sizes 1/2 kg which varies from 15-16$ and 1KG for 25$. You can order different things such as salmon, fish etc but if you happen to pass by I definitely recommend ordering the muscles.

Small place and it's pretty loud. We waited a while to get the food but when it finally came it was really good! I had the porchetta, very tender and juicy with a crispy skin. A little expensive but not too bad. Overall good food but like I said waited a while for our main course, seemed like they were understaffed.

Went there for the first time on Saturday was surprised to even find it was a restaurant . Little fly in the wall place. Ordered general tao, pork chops which comes with fried rice with an egg on top. I love pork chops and these were the best I've tasted in a while! Only negative thing would be the bathrooms...they smell and it's dirty! They could really use a deep clean!

Truly a hole in the wall type of place. It’s small so it’s usually busy because it’s near Concordia. I went on a Saturday night and even then we had to wait about 20 mins. Servers seem a little loopy like their minds are in the clouds. Unfortunately for us we were sitting in the middles the room with the door constantly opening and closing. I was hoping I wasn’t going to get sick from the constant draft of cold air coming in. For starters we ordered: Kara-age chicken, Shrimp tempura and tokoyaki We weren’t given plates to eat our starters on. Everything was so hot we had to place it on our napkins which was ridiculous! The chicken and shrimps weren’t that good. Chicken wasn’t crispy, shrimps were okay;it came with a regular tartar sauce. Tokoyaki’s were actually good. Main course: 2 Tantan deluxe , Parmesan snow gold bowl (Special of the month I think), Gold kome special. The tantan’s were good, Parmesan oddly a good mix and flavourful. The cha-shu was delicious. The gold kome was a little too salty but not bad in taste. Overall, the prices are average, great for students or if you’re craving for ramen. Biggest turn off was eating my starters on a napkin!!!! The bathrooms are dirty, it needs a good cleaning but it’s kinda expected for a restaurant like this.
