Weiterlesen Popped in here for lunch after visiting the pyramid. The menu is pretty big and there is a ton of choice on it. The staff are courteous and professional, and are good with helping with your choices. I had the mole de olla soup with stew beef and elotes. It was delicious and spicy, but it was a lot of work to eat because of the meat being on the bone and the corn on the cob. I watched an older Mexican guy near us eating the same thing to see if there was some trick I was missing, and while he wasn't as slow or fastidious as me, it was definitely still a bit of effort. But definitely worth it. My boyfriend had the menu del dia which came with pulque, nopale soup, enchiladas, chili relleno, and flan. The nopale soup was good, but if you've never had it before it is usually on the blander side. The enchiladas were pretty good too, but the chili relleno was just okay. Neither of us really love flan, so I don't think much of that got eaten, it was kind of just a bonus to the meal. I think he got the special because he really wanted the pulque and it was a good value. It's a good choice if you're in the area and you're hungry. It's not mind-blowing amazing, but it's pretty solid and you'll probably have a pretty decent meal. If you've never been to one of these huge, old-fashioned Mexican restaurants before, it's kinda fun just for that.

Weiterlesen I am from puebla after my mother cook this the best place in the city for traditional eating. there is an app plate they all need to try chalupas, guajolotes, mmmmhhhh. tostadas de pata, the best! all entrees all delicious from mol to pipipián. and carne asada. there is a layer three blocks of zocalo and a bit outside the city, both have the same menu and eat is great, but the one near zocalo is a nice place prices are very reasonable and service always good. simple place with the best eating from puebla.
