Weiterlesen I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The owner, Nelo, has her own cook book called ?The Afghan Table? and has created all of these dishes herself. Her daughters are usually working the floor along with her husband. The whole family is so sweet and kind. Themenu is small but the flavors get better and better. She has vegan and vegetarian options as well so there?s something foreveryone. They serve halal meat which is really nice. The restaurant itself has a charming traditional Afghan style withbeautiful Afghan music playing in the background. It?s always clean and well managed. I come here any chance I can! There?sample parking in the front and back of the restaurant. Try this place and don?t be afraid to step out of your bland Americantastebuds. You won?t regret it!

Apparently it was recently sold and the new owners let the scheduled band show up just to tell them they weren?t paying them butthey could setup in the back parking lot and play for tips, which they did. There are picnic tables on the slopped hill, feltlike if I fell off I?d roll to the bottom of the hill because they didn?t bother trying to level them. If you don?t hold yourbeer, it will fall over which mine did so I wore beer on my capris all night! There is a small bar along the back of thebuilding, maybe 8-10 seats. Once the band started playing the bartender started collecting $5 cover charge which was ridiculoussince they weren?t paying the band! We won?t be back!

I wish they would do a We love our locals selling only at Ingles, not at Wal Mart and NIE at Publix, so it would be nice if they 'd 'repay' the loyal customers with some deals! But I'm going to shop there as I have done for at least 18 years. Love the 'new' self-checkouts, but I wish they took cash as it's credit card only sometimes for a few quick things I want to pay with cash, but that's a small matter.
