Has a few different areas with different vibes and seems like someof them get booked out sometimes.

Weiterlesen Disappointed in service!! Ordered house wines, but we were overcharged as they must have given us 'higher end ' wine. Not about the actual money because it was $8 vs $6. (Yes we can afford $8 wine but this is a bar/pub! Bartender was totally rude andbasically said too bad...you had the $8 wine ...and walked away! I would have been good with a drink chip for next time! Noexcuse for that kind of customer service. Hope he isn 't the owner or bar manager.

Weiterlesen First bar I was in Milwaukee and wow what history in this place. These are guys with a dream to open a bar 48 years ago, and the memory of the wall shows up and down over the years. The staff was super friendly and happy to talk about the story. Not a big place, but it only has the feeling that the hard-working American is working on his vision of a bar. Would definitely recommend having a beer!

Weiterlesen My band got invited to eat here while we were at Mile of Music festival. I heard that I have to try cheese curds while in Wisconsin, so that’s the first thing I got. They were dank as expected. Can’t really go wrong there. Next, I had some bang bang shrimp (I think it’s an appetizer). Classic fried shrimp, and the bang bang sauce was indeed bangin. Next, I had the angry cocktail shrimp thing…. The cocktail sauce had a little spice but wasn’t too intense. Kind of tasted like a horseradish wasabi kind of heat. And then to keep going with my streak of eating only shrimp for some reason, I ordered the shrimp carbonara for my meal. This was truly delicious, and the pinnacle of all of my shrimp based dishes. The sauce was buttery and awesome, and the portion was perfect. I decided to deviate from the shrimp for a hot second to have some cocktails. They were all super good and got me sufficiently drunk. The perfect amount of buzzed to tolerate dining with my 6 best stupid friends. Overall the place had a classy vibe, nice views of the river dam, and our server did an amazing job dealing with us. Would recommend coming here if you’re looking for a nicer place to eat that is slightly off the beaten path of downtown.
