Weiterlesen I booked the Black Lion primarily because it is opposite the Tricycle Theatre and a friend and I were attending a show there. Having no idea what to expect we were delighted as the Black Lion is an old fashioned pub with a dining room and services bar meals. When I say old fashioned this includes the original features of the pub from the very early 19th century. I have never seen anything like this in situ and would recommend the venue for that reason alone. That said the menu was very good, as we enjoyed the pre-theatre menu, with soup and a delicious gnocchi for me, chicken for my friend, as well as a well priced bottle of wine. The service was excellent, attentive enough, without being overly so, while friendly. I hope to find an excuse to visit again soon.

Authentic Greek food at its finest (from the olives, tomatoes and feta cheese to the mains). All ingredients are high quality. Service was great, as always. A bit pricey however it's worth it, for the taste and experience! Favorite dish: grilled octopus

Weiterlesen Beany Grren is hard to find, the name is only out in the chalkboard. The staff is friendly and beautiful, the food is healthy and plentiful by not tasty and the facility just felt grubby. The table I had reserved did not exist and the table I was given was dirty with drinking spots and sticky. Finally, for an informal café lunch with a customer it was just too loud.

As we had to take our table early to use the offer the staff were guilty of being too attentive as they didn't have a full restaurant to look after.

Weiterlesen Use to book this restaurant for clients and then went with my sister. Felt really uncomfortable when I said I was allergic to egg, felt the waitor found it an inconvience. One of the waitors kept pulling their face mask down. Will not being going again or booking for clients. Only good thing was, they were doing the eat out scheme otherwise it would have been £90 for 2 people which is just ridiculous.
