Such distinct and bold flavors in each dish, loved the smokiness and charring of vegetables and meats. I loved theeggplant dish, that one was absolutely surprising. The only critique I have are the oxtail tapas, I think the parsnip pureédoesn't quite pair with the taste of an oxtail stew. Perhaps a carrot or potato pureé would work best. If you're a local orvisiting the area I highly recommend checking out Palo, but make sure to make a reservation first, we went on a Saturday nightand it was quite busy.

Probably average or slightly below average if compared to other options in the area. The rice was not well seasoned and it wasovercooked, so the texture was mushy and I could not feel the grains of rice, but kind of a tasteless rice dough. Fish was freshbut I think the ratio of rice to fish was not good, too much rice, and when the rice is cooked properly I usually like it, butthis time the rice was just not good. Decent sushi but kind of bland. There are better options around for that. Maybe thehibachi experience is better.
