Kartenzahlung wird hier nicht gerne gesehen. Der Service am Tisch hingegen ist sensationell freundlich und zuvorkommend! Zusammenfassend: Ein Heuriger, der Busgesellschaften willkommen heißt, aber Individualreisende sollten es sich gut überlegen!

Auf unsere Bitte, den Garten zu öffnen, reagierte der Kellner sehr aggressiv, riss die Tür auf und sagte: "Egal, um meine Gesundheit wird sowieso geschissen." So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir (4 Personen) und 5 weitere Gäste haben daraufhin das Lokal verlassen. 9 Personen weniger insgesamt. Ich bin entsetzt und werde das Lokal nicht mehr besuchen.

Prückel is a Viennese institution, located close to the MAK and 5 minutes walk from Stefansplatz. It’s a place to immerse yourself...in the atmosphere of Vienna in the 1960s, of intelligentsia and students . You just need to find a seat and eventually you will be served. Coffee is excellent and their lunches typically Viennese. You can read the newspapers and stay pretty much as long as you want to .

However, I left a pair of treasured pair of photography gloves (size small, black, the index fingers and thumb tips are removable with magnet connections, with zippers above each wrist)....I had to leave Vienna before I could retrieve them (and the staff couldn’t wouldn’t speak English on the phone), and I’m hoping that a fellow traveler might be able to help me out. Good service and good value for money.
