Weiterlesen Someone recommended this place for their wood-fired pizzas so we went and ordered three of them, all rather bland (both the dough and the toppings), nothing really amiss but nothing exciting either, your typical Swiss pizza joint. Service was very nice and accommodating (Capri is a popular place for Sunday lunch), all in all, with a different expectation level, this would have been a perfectly suitable pizza lunch).

Get my pizza collection and boy oh boy this pizza was the best pizza. Top food will be my going to pizza place safe. Delicious quality n good service

Weiterlesen 3 of us had a meal hear at 8.30pm on Monday 3rd June. The restaurant was busier than normal due to cricket fans having a meal after the World Cup game England v Pakistan at Trent Bridge, but by no means full. We ate upstairs and had to wait quite a while for 3 beers and to order our food. Eventually after a long wait our starters arrived. I had the squid for £7.00 which was one of the smallest I have ever seen five small rings of squid and a chilli type sauce on the side which wasn't very nice some not very fresh (dry) salad leaves. My colleagues starters looked slightly better but not very exciting. The staff looked harassed and under pressure all night I have no idea why.....as I said the place wasn't full. The main course I had was the speciality of the house biriani; cooked in a salt crust. the chicken was dry the dish had obviously been over cooked. I have been here several times before and always thought it was better than the Memsahib restaurant up the road. This was a very bad night at the office!

The desserts are always good, and their food is quite tasty too. The chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake you see in the pic , tasted as food as it looked. The only thing that may let it down a little is the time it takes to place an order (20 30 mins), as they can be busy sometimes. In short Pretty aesthetic and really good dessert/food

Weiterlesen Always great when you go for a Ruby and actually get something different. The masala fish starter was beautifully sweet and well worth a try. The mixed grill starter had a few tasty extras you wouldn't normally expect in a standard balti house. Main were very well flavoured and everyone our group was impressed. The Naan breads are large. Toilets were clean BYOB so saved on the final bill too Worth a trip further into brum rather than your local.
