I have been so patient and excited about this bean coffee place. I was even more ecstatic when I saw the Mexican mocha on the menu board. Omg it’s hard to find... I thought $40 for a burrito, chips and a drink was a bit much. I ordered the shells and a fish taco. Something in the mussel food tasted. Just nit, what I was hoping for. Not so good and I didn't finish it. 1 star for the Chowder. I should probably have said something to see what they had done with it. Fischtaco was the baked version and very good. Beautiful mix of flavors. My staff let me try their burrito and the rice was at the top. Premium sushi rice, well mixed with the other ingredients and very tasty overall. Beautiful choice of self serve hot sauces.

Once our waiter took our order he was nowhere to be found. NO. WHERE. Our party ordered the Chicken and Waffles, a side fries, Club sandwich with fries, hot cocoa, and a water no ice with lemon. Hot cocoa was not hot. Better yet it was barely warm. Water, no ice, with lemon was served with itty bitty slices with lots (I mean LOTS), of seeds sitting at the bottom of the glass. Fries were disgusting and GROSS!!! Some were hard. Some were rubbery. Ultimately they were returned due to the pure nastiness and lack of flavor. Club sandwich was the most delicious of anything that was served. Pretty hard to screw up a Club sandwich. The fries that came with this order were returned due to the reasons stated above. Cole Slaw was substituted in place of the awful fries. The Cole Slaw was delicious. Chicken and Waffles were blah. The chicken was greasy, lacked flavor, and warmth. The waffles were undercooked. They were doughy in the center. This would've been sent back but after a 90 minute drive, I did not want to wait any longer for lackluster room temperature food. One party of our group asked for a glass of water and the waiter proceeds to ask us if we were going to share the glass that was already at the table or if we wanted to add a glass of water to our table? What kind of queation is that? How many groups share one glass of water with the rest of their table? Our group comes to this restaurant at least 3 times a year when we visit Lake Arrowhead. Ever since the new owners/managers took over this place has gone downhill faster than an Olympic Skiier trying to out ski an avalanche. One more chance will be given and if the food and service has not improved it will be time to change our traditional dining place.

Weiterlesen While on holiday we heard from locals that we had to try Belgier Waffle Works, we made the quick trip to Lake Arrowhead and found the small breakfast place. The location was beautiful as you can only sit feet away from the water and enjoy in the beautiful landscape. The restaurant itself has been updated in quite awhile and has an old small town of Diner feeling, but the menu options are quite the opposite and boast of exciting culinary creations. As you read the menu, your mouth begins to water, as you can taste almost the tasty by reading the Entree descriptions. As with my family, we ordered our meals and expected the arrival of our delicacies. Let me tell you we were blown away from what was placed before us, not necessarily because of the appearance, but because of the way the flavors danced over your tastes. It was magical. The waffles were delicate, but also a stamp of taste. My daughter ordered the masterpiece known as Boston Cream Belgian, revealing the beauty that rests before her. I ordered the Brussels Belgian that is their takeover of a Monte Cristo, and I could not believe how delicious every bite was built with all the different elements. Needless to say, the locals were right, this place is a must visit. If they could only update the interior design and improve on their service, this place would be a home run. Nevertheless, the next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be over again.

I had the breakfast sandwich with egg and sausage and it was a pretty good break in the middle of a bike tour. I didn't try a beer, but it looks like they were good. I know the place is for most out of operation, but we should support it.

Weiterlesen Went to Lake Arrowhead Village too early and most shops/restaurants were still closed but good thing we found this spot right by the ferry ride entrance. They serve only breakfast (until 10:30 when most of the menu is available to order) so I couldn’t order the salad I’ve been craving but I settled with getting the Belgian Scrambled plate and omg I was so happy I did! I usually ignore the toast that comes with my bfast but this plate came with a generous amount of guacamole so I used that to make an avocado toast
