Kulinarisch ist die Auswahl breit gefächert, da der Gast zwischen italienischer, französischer und schweizerischer Küche wählen kann. Die Speisekarte umfasst Pasta, Pizzas sowie eine Vielzahl von Fleisch- und Fischgerichten und saisonale Angebote. Die Preise sind sehr gut und die Portionen großzügig. Der Service ist freundlich, aber nicht besonders aufmerksam, die Zubereitung der Speisen geht sehr schnell. An diesem Tag entschieden wir uns für eine Walliser Platte. Als Hauptgericht wählten wir zweimal Tournedos Rossini mit Périgourdine-Sauce (Foie Gras, schwarze Trüffel), einmal mit Tagliatelle und einmal mit Salzkartoffeln. Der Vorspeisenteller war ansprechend mit einer Auswahl an Käse, Trockenfleisch, Salami, Schinken und Chorizo (was nicht ganz typischer Walliser Geschmack ist). Das Hauptgericht war köstlich, das Fleisch perfekt gegart, die Sauce großartig und die Foie Gras setzte den krönenden Abschluss. Zusammengefasst ein hervorragendes Dorfrestaurant (Essen, Auswahl, Menge, Preis), wenn auch im Ambiente eher rustikal. Verbesserungsbedarf besteht bei den etwas zu dicht stehenden Tischen und einer etwas abgestimmten Einrichtung.

When I got the bill and...protested, they just told me that this was the policy of the restaurant. I asked to speak to the main waiter that day to formally protest, but he hardly listened to me and wanted to end the discussion by reimbursing me my three francs and fifty cents to get rid of me. I refused the money, and said I wanted to protest not being able to order free simple lead water. in genf our Mayor officially recommended to all who order water of water that is healthy, pure and delicious. I'm sure this is also the case with berner water, but this restaurant sells it. I will not be back in this restaurant!

Eat and beer was fantastic, glad that I decided and...will recommend and return. 28 chf, 26 € or about 23.00 € for what I had, including freshly baked brot. the Swiss is expensive. to compare I had a mcdonalds I know) for 14 chf in the night before. burger seemed to have been made by a machine and came without the bungalow lid. there is no comparison. pay them twice, a beer and enjoy the right food. a pizza in a restaurant costs approx. 20-28 chf. thanks to the owners and employees I wish them a lot good.
