Weiterlesen Incredibly disappointed with this restaurant. Far from representing a fine dining experience, the food was completely average. A fillet steak ordered medium rare was cooked medium and prawns were overdone. The service was poor, with my husband at one point having to enter the kitchen, where all the staff were chatting, to ask for another glass of wine. Despite these issues, the bill for four people came to over £200, on a 3 course set Father's Day menu, when we had had 2 glasses of wine, soft drinks and actually, for the 2 children, asked for only 2 courses. I was surprised therefore to see that, on the bill, a tiny portion had been knocked off the set price menu for the children's 2, rather than 3, courses. I certainly don't recommend this place, it is over-priced and represents poor value for money. You would be better off going to one of the excellent gastro pubs in the area.
