Weiterlesen I visited alis for the first time on the basis of the rave reviews online. ordered a “Bef-Wrap” aka shawarma and got a pita that contained 90% salat/tomaten some sose and about two ounces of bark meat. it tasted terrible and not paid the price....Way overpriced. I also ordered a “classical” poutine and lived in quebec for over 10 years I am a little familiar with what a poutin should be. the fries were not completely boiled, cheese was not curds (which come with a classic poutine) and gravur was more like colored water. Sure, I would have filed a complaint but as I saw that the woman working on the front treat other customers, did not want to have a battle on my hands. A pity that the mantra of the customer is always correct, does not apply here. In summary, I am not a picky meal, but overall I was very disappointed about the overpriced, lack of food quality and diligent food preparation, as advertised. I would definitely not recommend this place. I really cannot understand how this restaurant has a five-star rating.

Purchased a cottage in the fall of 2014 outside of New Glasgow. Did not want to cook on a Friday evening so we called Alice's Pizza while we were on the highway... Weiterlesen Purchased a cottage in the fall of 2014 outside of New Glasgow. Did not want to cook on a Friday evening so we called Alice's Pizza while we were on the highway so it would be ready when we went by. Although I only ordered a pepperoni pizza it was the best slice I have had outside of the US. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the cheese and pepperoni were of high quality. Don't hesitate to get a pizza here. Can't wait to try more items from the menu.
