Weiterlesen Our experience at Sri Trat started on a high note, the ambiance was welcoming, and we were seated promptly. Starters arrived in a timely manner and set a great tone for the evening. However, the overall service began to fall short as the night progressed. We were asked for last orders and decided to go with two desserts. That’s when confusion started. A server brought out the dessert plate for the mango sticky rice prematurely before our mains had even arrived. It turned out that our main courses had been forgotten entirely, only showing up after we followed up. After finishing our mains, it took another 10–15 minutes before a manager came by to check in, seemingly to assess if we were done so dessert could be served. It was disappointing, especially considering the number of staff on the floor. While there were many servers, none seemed to be actively checking in on the tables, which left the service feeling inattentive and somewhat disorganised. That said, the food itself was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It’s a real shame that the service didn’t match the high standard of the cuisine especially at a place where expectations are naturally elevated.
