(they had a reservation???!!! Rome and its visitors deserve restaurants with better service and also with better food ... the food was basic ... At home we do much better!

Weiterlesen I visited Volee on 18th July for my husband's birthday, with my two teenage daughters. As we were staying outside Rome, we drove to the restaurant adn arrive early. Though the staff were busy setting uo for the evening, they made us welcome and quickly offered us drinks and some nibbles. We sat in the outside courtyard which was really pretty. They had a keyboard player singing songs very pleasant indeed. the food was divine! We all chose something different, the presentation of their dishes is beautiful and it all tasted fantastic. The staff were great and very attentive, plus we were given free glasses of Prosecco too, which was a lovely touch. I can't find fault with Volee. It is not in the centre of Rome, so may prove harder for those in the city to reach, as it is located within a tennis/sports country club but it is really worth the effort to get here. though the owner wasn't around, his head chef passed on his personal birthday wishes to my husband they made the effort in every respect so I really hope to visit again when I stay in Rome next time. Highly recommended!

Alles scheint von Grund auf neu gemacht zu sein und ist wirklich gut. Ich hatte ein typisches Schweizer Essen, das köstlich war. Halten Sie an, wenn Sie dem Löwen nahe sind.
