01.04.2023 - 12:17Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous avons très très bien mangé. Service d'une extrême gentillesse. La cuisine est faite maison, et ça se sent. Je recommande Il faut encourager ces restaurateurs qui sont à la campagne, allez-y !

01.12.2022 - 03:58Dan or Chez Dan as the locals call it is truly destination dining in an already crowded field of Bordeaux. Be sure to come with an open mind as to food and wine and allow yourself to trust completely to the server and host. While...we were there we listened to a group of Canadians (from Calgary, so they announced all too loudly) insisted that they knew EXACTLY what wine they needed to accompany dinner. And then I heard them complain. Folks, you do not know the complicated tastes about to be offered to you. Syrielle really knows about the food and she really knows her wines. She understands what will work with the food and what she has on offer may not be exactly what travels across the pond. That said, as obnoxious as our friends from the North may have been, our host handled them with a deftness and finesse that certainly was undeserved. Please, if you eat her, come with an open mind. Now down to our experience. We ordered the 5 course degustation. That or the 8 is where you should go, Three is too little. They were aware of our dietary issues and adjusted immediately. Syrielle also suggested the wine pairings. The food was amazing. Each dish better than the last. The Squash dish with foie gras and fregola was delicate and tasty. the wine pairing was an unusual glass from the Loire. One we would never have chosen ourselves. Next we had a shellfish with mushrooms and bok choi and cauliflower like I have never tasted. And another Loire wine, this time with more full body. The Black Bass was prepared with a hint of kafir lime and served with a Riesling. My husband had a duck with a light Bordeaux from Pessac while I had ravioli. Dessert was to die for and I don't eat sweets. It was an apple confit with ginger honey and wait for it sesame and cep mushrooms. All this was timed perfectly. It was prepared in a kitchen the size of a closet. Clearly, this is a destination of fine dining. The other diners, save the previously described table, were locals. One was a young couple on date night. This is not a quick meal. Prepare to sit and enjoy. This is what makes a wonderful meal in the French style, an evening to enjoy good food, good wine, conversation all in harmony with one another. And I should add, the total bill was exceptionally reasonable for the quality and service. Please reserve and enjoy.

30.11.2022 - 16:551st its totally full of Americans, due to being on a new American review site. Every client there was American. 2nd yes the fried chicken is good (everyone in the restaurant is eating it), so are some of the dishes the frisee...salad was good. Not that much veg really. the stuffed cabbage was stuffed with foei gras for example. 3rd really inflexible. You can have whats on the menu and absolutely nothing different.

06.02.2022 - 09:34We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and went because of the reviews, and we were not disappointed. In fact it exceeded our expectations. Cozy atmosphere, and Victor took care of us. We loved him immediately. He knows how to make you feel special from the...wine recommendations to the dessert, and the surprise complimentary port. (spoiler alert, sorry). Pizza was great, pasta fair, and the mozzarella garlic bread was awesome! Good dessert options we had the cookie cake, delicious. We would return again and again if we could! Planned to go on our return to Porto but arrived too late Thank you Victor and D. Gancho!

13.01.2022 - 11:13Hacia muchísimo tiempo que no comíamos tan bien en un restaurante, con una atención tan profesional y una materia prima de primera calidad. Personal muy agradable, muy atento y muy permisible.simplemente espectacular.
